My friend Susan invited me to join her at the Indianapolis Midtown Holiday home tour. It was a lovely day to see different homes in Indianapolis decorated for the holiday season.
We had a great time at the ball park! Can’t believe the school year is almost over.
I have been enjoying this week at our wives conference. I also enjoyed this fantastic pizza at Napolese, a local pizzeria. I ordered the Clifford’s Ball with cider braised brisket, kale, jowl bacon and provolone cheese.
Love the retro duckpin bowling!
We finally made it to the Indianapolis Art Museum. My team and I spent a few hours soaking in the masters–artists from all over the world. It was wonderful. Can’t believe I hadn’t been yet. Here is Amanda, Brittany and Paul riding the escalators.
Still trying my new Diana+ lenses. It makes wonderful lens flare!
John is enjoying his turntable we got for Christmas. Now he only wants to buy vinyl.
For months I have wanted to head downtown for the First Friday Food Truck Fest and we finally made it today! And boy was it cold. Last week we had 90 degree temps and today it was 56. So here are a selection from the food truck fest. (Click to see them big!)
For my birthday, I bought some Diana+ lenses that attach to my Canon. These plastic lenses are known for the soft and “dreamy” analog effect. I am excited to try them all out and practice setting the camera completely manually-no meter, no aperture adjustments, no auto focus.
