With John’s brother’s family visiting, I got to take time for a portrait session. It was COLD and damp, but wow, what a scene! So thankful for them visiting after Thanksgiving.
After serving as full-time missionaries for 18 years, John and I decided to take a step of faith in a new direction. One of the great things we got to do was build relationships with people in the church who supported us financially and through prayer. Almost every month for 18 years we sent a newsletter giving updates and sharing stories and prayer requests.
As we decided to leave full-time ministry, I wanted to have a memory and record of our time of service. I turned all of our newsletters in to a Blurb book. It’s a great way to remember and honor all that God did.
I have made a number of other books through Blurb. I love how easy it is!

It’s not even thanksgiving, but we are decorating our tree with just a few penguin ornaments.
Yesterday at the doctor’s office.
The afternoon view at the IU Simon Cancer Center.
it only took a year, but this room is finally finished with the addition of the padded headboard. Thanks to John’s parents for getting it hung on the wall!
It’s been a couple weeks since John’s leg surgery. Today is one of his first days out in the world again, walking without crutches.
Isn’t Kendra beautiful! Baby J is due in December. I loved capturing her and her husband Dan together during this special time before their son arrives.
