Remember the days of the card catalog? My recent trip to the library reminded me of those times. I checked out an older book with the little card holder still left in the front flap. Remember when librarians with their stamp pounding out due dates in the front or back of books, searching for books via subject, author or title in rows upon rows of little index cards… Now it is all about computers and little bar codes. My, how times have changed.
printing

This is my big project at work right now. I (with the help of the fabulous Michelle) am creating fund raising packages for about 7 different campuses. Each package includes invitations, RSVP cards, programs for the actual event, etc. We call the event the Fellowship Dinner. Yesterday, I planned on printing a lot of it and work on other things at the same time. I realized pretty quickly that wasn’t gonna happen. Printing more than 2000 sheets just takes more time than you would think. It is exciting to see my small part in helping our ministries do more because they have this money that will be raised.

flakes

It is snowing again. I love seeing the details in the flakes. I need to get my hands on a macro lens so I can get in really close to those tiny crystals.
to read

This is John’s stack of “to read” books on his side of the bed. The stack keeps getting higher and higher… But he is working his way through them.
