We got together with our neighbors for a Labor day picnic today. The kids had a blast on the slip-n-slide. This is Nadia coming down the pipe.

John and I took the long, round-about way to the grocery store this afternoon. Even though we live in the middle of suburbia, drive a mile away and you are in the middle of a corn field. With summer ending, the colors will start to change, from the trees to the fields. It is really beautiful, especially on such a clear day. Makes me thankful for my polarizer filter so I can capture it all the more.

We hosted another game night at our house. Rousing games of pandemic & powergrid (pictured) plus, ingenious, puerto rico, and bohnanza. Such a fun night. Thanks for coming everyone.
Ps. Check out Marlene’s new camera she just got! Congrats, Marlene!

The world looks so different when it is foggy. More mysterious, I think.

Mexican fish sounds like a great recipe, but for me, it is just these cute little carved hand-painted fish that sit on my dresser.
