Cheers!

For the first time in 8 years, we were at home on New Year’s Eve.
For John, it was the first time in 16 years, outside of Y2K when we got engaged.
Just a trace

Just the slightest bit of snow on the ground New Year’s Eve gave everything a white tinge. Then in about an hour, it was gone.
Dominoes

The last night John’s parents were here for Christmas, we played dominoes. I thought it would be fun to try some long exposure shots since people move around quite a bit. This one is a 4 second exposure.

Here’s a detail of that shot. I like how one domino is disappearing and reappearing on the board.
Most of the shots I tried were long exposures, 2 to 4 seconds. I wish I would have done 1 second and maybe a little slower still. Would have been interesting…
Penguin

R & W: Remember Welcome? Welcome, meet Penguin.
Penguin has been running around the house all week getting into all sorts of trouble. :) Here he is hanging from the door knob to the guest bedroom. Where will he end up next???

Radiation
I actually took these pictures on Christmas Eve, but this has been a part of our daily routine for about 6 weeks now. John goes in every day to get radiation on his leg. The gals re-mark his tattoos so they can line up the laser lines and zap him in the right spot.

Laser lines
You can see the laser lines up on his leg and then they will shot the radiation through a mold specifically designed for his leg. The good thing is, radiation is almost done. Just 2 more times after today
